Music touches the heart and soul like nothing else in life. As long as I can remember, I’ve loved singing. I love imparting music to others, especially music that brings people to the heart of worship. It renews and refreshes and can draw anyone closer to the Lord.

During my early years I sang at many churches and any other opportunity that came along. My close family provided a loving environment and solid foundation for a content life. In addition to weddings, political events, National Day of Prayer events, women’s conferences, and memorial services for fallen soldiers at Fort Hood, I’ve also had the honor of singing the National Anthem before several Houston Astros games.

During my college years, I was offered a music scholarship several times, but never felt God’s leading to pursue a classical music education. My dad probably would have appreciated the tuition help, if I had tried it a few semesters! Although I graduated with a degree focused on marketing, my love and passion is singing.

I have a normal job at this time, for which I am very thankful. However, I pray that one day God will lead me into a full-time career in music and ministry.

I’ve been told many times my music brings peace and causes people to slow down and reflect on the goodness and majesty of the Lord. This is very humbling and brings me great joy, as I’m someone who loves the Lord, loves music, and desires to glorify His name.

People are always asking me when I’m going to do something with my music. Well, here’s the beginning of what I hope will be a long and fruitful journey of bringing honor and glory to God through music.
